My Skin is Freaking Out

Who You Are

You’re a woman who has done everything right - you eat healthy, you work out, and you take care of your body, but your skin continues to be aggravated and inflamed. You’ve had a tendency to have clear skin as a kid, but now you’re in your 20’s and 30’s and you’ve started to break out like crazy.

You’ve become obsessed with trying every new skincare product and acne treatment you could find that promised it would transform your skin.

You’ve tried it all – everything from high-end to drugstore products. You’ve also tried a myriad of  serums, masks, cleansers, multi-step “all natural” programs, and everything in between. No matter what you did, though, nothing gave you the results you wanted.

To make matters worse, you’ve been to multiple doctors, specialists, and dermatologists, but none of their treatments have worked and you can’t understand why they couldn’t “fix” you.

You freak out when you see pimples on your face, so you start popping them like a mad woman. At this point, it’s became a daily and nightly ritual for you, but now your face is pretty much red, irritated and exploded ALL of the time.

What Your Issues Tend to Be

Your skin is one of your biggest insecurities as a woman as the media portrays acne free skin as “beautiful” and “healthy”.

You’re in tears most days looking in the mirror and you don’t want to leave the house, put on makeup, or see anyone.  When you do have to leave the house, you have to put on makeup and it’s extremely painful. The pain becomes so bad that you can’t stop thinking about it and can’t wait to get back home.  

You deal with deep, under-the-surface cystic pimples that are really painful and don’t seem to go away. You also deal with your legs, chest, and arms getting inflamed with eczema and red, itchy patches.

If we’re really being honest, you’re scared that you’re getting judged by that girl at work and that you’re not good enough for that guy you like because they’re looking at your acne, not at you as a beautiful human being.

All of this creates an inordinate amount of stress in your life and has taken a toll on your confidence. You want so badly to return to a normal, lively, care-free, confident woman you’ve always been and be acne free.
